Hot Cheetos are one of the best snacks and they have represented the Latine culture in The States, especially for Mexican Americans.
In pop culture and social media, a certain look has been picked up as the "Hot Cheeto Girl". This is to make fun of or label Latinas and black women as excessive, hyper-feminine, from the hood, and feisty. We can proudly be like that but we are also so much more. I am using Hot Cheetos as an art medium to create images that show Latinas' authenticity. With this, I am empowering the stereotype and honoring Latinas.
