Caliente Ardiente is an immersive installation that explores the intricate layers of Latina femme identities through a dynamic interplay of sensory elements. Featuring five paintings and a mural made with Hot Cheetos, Blue Takis, and makeup. The work engages sight, touch, smell, and taste to create a visceral experience that invites viewers to reflect on the intersections of identity, culture, and critique.

The materials and sensory components serve as metaphors, drawing attention to the pervasive commodification of sexuality and the objectification of marginalized bodies within consumerist frameworks. Through this multi-sensory approach, Caliente Ardiente challenges stereotypes, offering a profound commentary on the lived experiences of Latina women and femmes.
Rooted in passion and resistance, the installation invites an intimate dialogue, urging the audience to confront and reconsider narratives surrounding identity, desire, and agency.
