Sequins, flowers, hair, corn, and imprints on Hand-Made paper, hand-made paper mask, hand-made paper sculpture of my chest, fake eyelashes, snake skin shed, hand imprints on hand-made paper, acrylic nails, clay
Scanned paper sheets and sculptures, digitally sketched to look like hanging papel picado. It is an installation embracing diva attitude and strong-spoken snake Mexican women. It uses materials indigenous to Mexican Land, like rattlesnake skin, corn husks, and flowers, as well as block printing and objects that make the pieces campy and disco. The sculptures are made of paper pulp using molds of my face and breasts, shamelessly.
