I replaced the Statue of Liberty with a woman(myself) dressed like Barbie and holding up a vulva that I made of sequins. The Statue of Liberty represents freedom, and with this piece, I am using it as iconography for the wished freedom to liberate our vulvas and uterus from oppression, the freedom to have a choice over our bodies, the freedom to not be criminalized, and the freedom to speak up.
