The painting is of the Rio Grande River and the bridge to cross from my hometown, Miguel Alemán, Tamaulipas, México to Roma, Texas, U.S.A. The sculpture is an abstract piñata referencing my body as a bridge. The body is taking the position of a bridge to symbolize that I am the border between two cultures wherever I go.
