In pop culture and social media, a certain look has been picked up as the "Hot Cheeto Girl". This is to describe a look that social media have picked up to make fun of Latinas and black women as excessive, hyperfeminine, from the hood, and feisty.
Using Hot Cheetos as an art medium to create images that show Latinas' authenticity is empowering the stereotype and honoring Latinas.
